Reworking Utility Spaces
Design Concept · storage planning · furnishing
This project focused on providing design guidance and clear direction for furniture selection and storage planning, with particular attention given to the client’s laundry and mudroom. The existing space lacked functional storage, making everyday tasks feel cluttered and inefficient.
The Design Concept centered on introducing purposeful storage solutions that balanced utility with a clean, considered aesthetic. Cabinetry and furnishings were selected to support daily routines while keeping the space feeling calm and visually cohesive. Though guidance extended to smaller furnishing decisions throughout the home, the laundry room became the anchor of the project, offering the greatest opportunity for impact.
Developed as a Design Concept, this plan was created to give the client confidence and clarity as they moved forward with implementation on their own.
Client Feedback
“Working with Liz was fantastic from start to finish. During the process Liz took the time to actually listen - not just to my words but to my style, preferences, and the feeling I wanted my home to evoke. She introduced creative elements that I wouldn’t have thought of, yet they fit my style perfectly, making my home feel like mine. The process was collaborative, creative, and enjoyable. I couldn’t be happier with the results. If you’re looking for someone who listens, cares, and transforms your ideas / thoughts into a space that feels like you, you need to reach out to Liz - you won’t be disappointed.”
